We're the Wiliolos.
We're two Midwest wives, a proud Chicagoan and a loyal Cheesehead. We're also both educators, creators, and homebodies. Sharing a workshop, we make beautiful creations for the home and garden. Laura's the woodworker and writer. Megan's the gardener and textile artist.

This is Megan.
Megan is the heart and humor of Wiliolo Crafts. A proud cheesehead from Wisconsin, she brings joy, wit, and artistry to everything she touches. As a fiber artist, Megan’s embroidery blends bold creativity with delicate detail—often inspired by nature, body positivity, and the quiet strength of everyday life.
When she’s not stitching something beautiful, she’s teaching, reading, or befriending animals (the goat might talk about her if you ask). An educator and lifelong learner, Megan brings spirit (or curse words) into every thread she pulls.
This is Laura.
Laura is the soul behind the wood grain at Wiliolo Crafts. A proud Chicagoan, lifelong educator, and fierce advocate for community, she brings both heart and precision to her woodburning, carving, and storytelling. Laura’s art celebrates bold bodies, queer joy, and the layered beauty of everyday life.
When she's not making sawdust or burning delicate floral lines into bookmarks, she’s writing her debut sapphic romance novel—set in the schools and streets of Chicago's South Side. Her work is rooted in justice, love, and deep attention to the world around her, always honoring the people and places that shape her.
Sydney & Ruger
The senior supervisors and full-time emotional support team

Sydney, our endlessly affectionate Rottie-Husky mix—specializes in underfoot inspections and enforcing mandatory petting breaks. She believes every task, no matter how small, requires her close supervision (and probably a cuddle).
Ruger (aka Rugee), our resident chonk and black Lab-Bulldog mix, prefers a more laid-back management style: sunbathing, snacking on meatballs, and offering motivational stares while Sydney does all the cardio. Together, they oversee all operations, ensure the vibe stays cozy, and provide world-class hugs when morale needs a boost.
